 “Use the body” and “Use the body”: Two steps to discuss Xiong Shili’s metaphysical learning

Abstract: “Social” is the basis of Xiong Shili’s pursuit of all things in the universe. Although it has the distinction between “original conscience” and “physical”, this distinction should not be understood as the internal contradiction of its system, but presents the focus of metaphysical construction. The clarity of the broad (constant-original conscience) and the highest (one-yuan entity) and how the two share a “body” structure has become the focus of Xiong Shili metaphysical construction. The former points to “use the body” and the latter points to “use the body”, and the origin lies in using “use” or “action” to speak “each” and gaining the mastery of the two “body” through differences in “use”. “Use the body” and “Use the body” are two steps to learn from the perspective of the morphology. The former raises the questions of the highest and the broad, while the latter confesses how to grasp the relationship between the highest and the broad, and the two. Xiong Shili responded to these problems in a physical manner and understood a metaphysical path that was different from Buddhism and Western science.

 Introduction

The “body use” structure is the most basic basis of Xiong Shili’s metaphysical structure, and there is a distinction between “body use” and “body use” in his philosophical thinking. The former appears in the linguistic text of “New Perspectives” (printed in 1953) and “Physical theory” (printed in 1958), while the latter appears in “Qian Kunyan” (printed in 1961). This contradiction can be further engraved as the contradiction between the “body” in Xiong Shili’s philosophy, that is, the contradiction between “original conscience” and the “physical conscience” containing matter. As Zeng Hailong said: “(In “New Identity” – Introduction) The body is the original conscience of human beings, and ‘use of the body’ is the grand function of human beings, and it presents the entire world by the use of the original conscience of human beings.” “(In “Mingxin Chapter” – Introduction) If benevolence is not the body, there must be a different body, Xiong Shili points to the sky asThe reality of mind and matter is that there is a body outside the mind. …As the essence of a confidant is rejected, then the body can only be the universe’s reality.” ② In other words, this area is regarded as the difference between “only cognition” and “physical use”: “The main focus is on understanding, and the confession is that the mind and nature are the essence, and the physical discussion is very little. The main purpose of physical use is to express that the body is based on the body, and the universe is the condition of the mind and nature discussion”③, that is, the contradiction between “original conscience” and “physical”. However, the theoretical Zhangli presented by Xiong Shili in “using the body” and “physical use” has a more in-depth reason, rather than just a contradiction in theoretical construction. 1 From “particular” to “use”: A pursuit of the roots
